David Blair DeHaven is the Principal of D3 Coaching, LLC. With a background of over 25 years of corporate, consulting, and coaching experience, David provides individual and group coaching, meeting facilitation, and consulting in areas such as Change Management, Leadership, and Business Strategy.
In addition to coaching, David DeHaven is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in information systems, IT infrastructure, and consulting services. Over his career, David has held several executive positions, including National Dean for the Graduate School of Business and Management with Argosy University, Dean of the School of Business and Management for Argosy University, Dean of the School of Information Systems and Technology for Kaplan University, Chief Technology Officer for Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector, Intelligence Operations Director for Northrop Grumman TASC, Partner with Greenwich Technology Partners, and Vice President with First Union Bank.
David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from George Mason University, an MBA from Auburn University, a Masters in Psychology from Kaplan University, and a Doctoral degree in Organization and Management/Leadership from Capella University. David’s PhD program and dissertation research focused on leadership for the 21st century, organization, servant leadership, and the role of culture and change management in supporting IT initiatives. David is also a certified Master NLP Practitioner.
David DeHaven lives in Fincastle which is part of Botetourt County with his three children. He is avid volleyball player, loves kayaking, riding his motorcycle and cooking.
